Established in 2018, Offinso Foundation for Community Change (OFCC) is a registered community-based, non-profit development organization committed to improving the well-being and quality of life of residents in Offinso in the Ashanti region of Ghana, especially marginalized groups. Our programs are centered around three core areas: Economic Empowerment, Education, and Health & Wellness.
As a grassroots organization, OFCC works collaboratively with communities to build leadership, enhance skills, and foster confidence and aspiration. Through participatory research and inclusive planning, we empower local people to identify challenges, explore sustainable solutions, and mobilize resources. By promoting shared leadership and active engagement, community members take ownership of change initiatives and lead efforts that create lasting impact.

Our History
Founded in 2018 by a group of local changemakers passionate about transforming lives and communities, OFCC exists to empower marginalized individuals – especially youth, women, and rural populations – through education, healthcare access and economic opportunities.
Our Dedicated Volunteer Team
At OFCC, we operate with a committed team of volunteer professionals rather than paid staff. These dedicated individuals bring diverse expertise in business and project management, healthcare, banking and finance, agriculture, social work, public administration, and education. Their extensive skills in project development, operations management, financial planning, marketing, and performance evaluation enable us to maximize the impact of financial contributions.
Beyond executing projects efficiently, our team excels in building trust-based relationships with individuals, families, communities, government officials, traditional leaders, and other key stakeholders, ensuring meaningful and sustainable change.
Governance & Accountability
OFCC has a strong accountability structure, with an elected 11-member Board serving as its governing body. In addition to providing oversight and strategic direction, the Board ensures staff accountability while supporting the organization in developing effective plans and mobilizing resources. This structure strengthens OFCC’s ability to achieve its mission and maintain transparency in its operations.
