OFCC empowers marginalized groups – women, girls, youth, rural farmers, and low-income households, and individual – by creating opportunities, fostering self-reliance, and removing barriers to growth. Through our initiatives, individuals gain control over their economic, social, and personal lives, enabling them to support their families and improve their quality of life.
Our Programs focus on three key areas:
- Economic Empowerment – We support youth and women through entrepreneurship training, sustainable agriculture, vocational training, financial literacy, small business incubation, and formation of youth and women-led cooperatives or Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
- Education: We promote inclusive and equitable education as a foundation for lifelong empowerment by supporting marginalized children – especially girls – through girl-child education sponsorship, education support, and access to digital tools. By addressing barriers to education and bridging the technology gap, we empowers young learners with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in school, work, and life.
- Health and Wellness: The program seeks to improve the overall well-being of Offinso residents by promoting healthy behaviors, reducing environmental health risks, and increasing access to quality healthcare services, water and sanitation. Through education, outreach, and community-based initiatives, the program addresses key health challenges and empowers individuals and families to lead healthier, more resilient lives.
Eligibility for OFCC’s Programs
OFCC’s programs are designed to support marginalized individuals and communities, with a focus on women, youth, rural farmers, and low-income households. Eligibility varies by program but generally includes individuals facing economic hardship, limited access to education or healthcare, and those seeking skills development or entrepreneurial support. Selection is based on need, commitment to personal and community development, and alignment with program objectives.
